At Megabite We support open standards based computing where ever possible. We believe that Open source tools will, over time, become dominant. The peer review and rapid development that results from the open souce model creates better code.
At the same time some companies are heavily invested in proprietary legacy systems that they depend on for day to day operations.
Our goal is to help identify ways to make a company less dependent on a single vendor. This allows vendors to be judged on their value instead of being locked into a closed platform.
